Financial assistance for in-home care is
available through a reimbursement program to
qualified vets and surviving spouses.
Trusted Loving Care can help our clients
apply to the VA to receive money to cover
part or all of cost of non medical home care
costs we provide.
What is the benefit?
This benefit is for aid and attendance for
non service related disabilities
requiring non medical home care.
How much money are we talking about?
Veterans can receive up to $1,519.00 per
month from the VA.
A vet and spouse can get up to $1,801.00 per
month.
A surviving spouse may receive up to
$976.00.
What do I need to qualify?

A documented medical
condition related to aging
or declining health.

Be unable to drive
-
Served 90 days active duty
with at least one day in a
stated period of war

Liquid assets should not
exceed $60,000

What do you mean about reimbursement?
Because processing of applications with the
VA can take several months, vets or their
families must be prepared to pay initial
home care costs. When the check from the VA
comes, it will reimburse the vet for
expenses already paid. Subsequent checks
will cover the money spent for the previous
month on home care.
